Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Slice the loaf crosswise in 1-inch intervals without cutting all the way through the bottom crust.
- 3. In a small bowl, stir together the softened butter, Roasted Onion & Garlic Infused Olive Oil Blend, minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- 4. Gently spread the butter mixture between the bread slices and over the top of the loaf, working it into the cuts as evenly as possible.
- 5. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the top and tuck a little into the slices if you like a cheesier finish.
- 6. Wrap the loaf loosely in foil and bake for 12 minutes.
- 7. Open the foil and bake for 5 to 6 minutes more, until the top turns golden and the edges crisp.
- 8. Let the bread rest for 2 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For the best texture, use a loaf with a sturdy crust so the center stays soft while the edges bake up crisp. If your loaf is especially large, add another tablespoon of the infused olive oil blend to the butter mixture for a richer finish. The bread is best served warm the day it is baked.
