  • 3 cups mini pretzels
  • 2 cups cheese crackers
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed unsalted nuts
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels popped and cooled
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Popcorn Infused Olive Oil Blend
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup bagel chips broken into bite-size pieces

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl For tossing the snack mix
  • 1 Small Saucepan For melting and seasoning the coating
  • 2 Sheet Pan Large pans lined with parchment
  • 2 sheets Parchment paper Helps with even baking and easy cleanup
  • 1 Wooden spoon For stirring and tossing
  • 1 set Measuring cups For dry ingredients
  • 1 set Measuring spoons For seasoning and coating

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and line two large sheet pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a very large mixing bowl, combine the cereal squares, pretzels, cheese crackers, mixed nuts, popped popcorn, and bagel chips.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with the Popcorn Infused Olive Oil Blend. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the warm coating over the snack mix and toss gently but thoroughly until everything looks evenly seasoned.
  5. Divide the mix between the prepared sheet pans and spread it into an even layer.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, stir well, then bake for 20 to 25 minutes more, stirring once or twice, until the mix smells toasted and looks lightly crisp.
  7. Remove the pans from the oven and let the mix cool completely on the pans.
  8. Break up any large clusters, then transfer the finished snack mix to a serving bowl or airtight container.

Notes

For the best texture, pop the popcorn fresh and let it cool before mixing. Keep the oven low so the snack mix toasts instead of browning too quickly. If you like extra seasoning, add a light pinch more kosher salt after baking while the mix is still warm. The Popcorn Infused Olive Oil Blend brings the signature savory popcorn character, so resist the urge to overcomplicate the seasoning; simple works beautifully here.
