Ingredients

- 1 medium yellow onion thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced

- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 6 cups green cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 medium tomato diced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons water plus more as needed
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Method
- Heat the Nepal Himalayan Spice Infused Olive Oil Blend and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until softened.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, and red pepper flakes, then stir for 15 seconds to toast the spices lightly.
- Add the cabbage, tomato, salt, and black pepper, then toss well so everything is coated.
- Pour in the water, cover the skillet, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the cabbage turns tender.
- Uncover the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes if you want a little more color and a drier finish.
