  • 8 slices Bacon cooked until crisp
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms sliced

  • 4 Brioche Buns split and toasted
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise optional for serving

Method
 

  1. Equipment: Cast iron skillet or griddle, spatula, chef knife, cutting board, mixing bowl.

Cook the Bacon (8-10 minutes):
  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside. Carefully remove excess bacon grease from the skillet, leaving a light coating for flavor.
Sauté the Mushrooms (6-8 minutes):
  1. Add 1 tablespoon of Burger Infused Olive Oil to the skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned and tender, stirring occasionally. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and keep warm.
Prepare the Burger Patties (5 minutes):
  1. Gently mix the ground beef with 1 tablespoon of Burger Infused Olive Oil, kosher salt, and black pepper. Divide into four equal patties, shaping them slightly wider than the buns.
Cook the Burgers (6-8 minutes):
  1. Heat the remaining tablespoon of Burger Infused Olive Oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness.
Melt the Cheese (1-2 minutes):
  1. Top each patty with Swiss cheese during the final minute of cooking. Cover briefly if needed to help the cheese melt evenly.
Assemble and Serve (5 minutes):
  1. Place each cheesy burger patty on a toasted brioche bun. Top with sautéed mushrooms, crispy bacon, and optional lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Serve immediately.
