Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the Chinese Five Spice Infused Olive Oil Blend, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, orange zest, salt, and black pepper.
- 4. Brush most of the glaze over the salmon, reserving a little for finishing.
- 5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze looks glossy.
- 6. Brush on the remaining glaze, then top with scallions and sesame seeds.
- 7. Serve warm with rice and vegetables, spooning any pan juices over the top.
Notes
For the best texture, do not overbake the salmon. The glaze should look shiny and lightly caramelized, and the fish should still feel tender in the center. If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer a little extra glaze in a small pan for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
