Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the angel hair pasta until just tender, then reserve a little pasta water before draining.
- Pat the shrimp dry and season them with salt and black pepper.
- Warm the Basil Infused Olive Oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter melts.
- Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook just until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook until pink and just cooked through, about 2 minutes per side.
- Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice, then add the drained pasta and parsley.
- Toss everything together, adding a splash of reserved pasta water as needed to help the sauce coat the noodles.
- Finish with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Angel hair cooks quickly, so keep an eye on the pasta and shrimp to avoid overcooking. If you want a silkier finish, add the pasta to the skillet while the pan is still lightly glossy with oil and butter. The Basil Infused Olive Oil brings a fresh basil-forward finish that makes the dish feel bright and fragrant from the first toss to the last bite.
