Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons New York Pizza Infused Olive Oil Blend
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce
  • 18 slices pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • 1 9x13-inch baking dish for baking the slider tray
  • 1 Pastry brush for coating the roll tops
  • 1 Mixing bowl for the butter and olive oil blend
  • 1 Knife for slicing the sliders after baking

Method

Instructions
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. 2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally as a connected sheet and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. 3. Stir the melted butter with the New York Pizza Infused Olive Oil Blend, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. 4. Spread the pizza sauce over the roll bottoms, then layer on half the mozzarella, all the pepperoni, and the remaining mozzarella.
  5. 5. Place the roll tops over the filling and brush the blended butter mixture over the top.
  6. 6. Sprinkle on Parmesan, sesame seeds, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
  7. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  8. 8. Uncover and bake for 8 to 10 minutes more, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  9. 9. Finish with chopped parsley, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For the best pull-apart texture, keep the rolls connected while assembling and slice only after the sliders have rested. If your rolls are especially soft, toast the cut sides for 2 to 3 minutes before assembling so they stay sturdy under the filling.
