Instructions
- 1. Heat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise and set the halves cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- 3. Stir together the softened butter, Portuguese Peri Peri Infused Olive Oil Blend, minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, Parmesan, and lemon juice until well mixed.
- 4. Spread the garlic mixture evenly over both bread halves, making sure it reaches the edges.
- 5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the bread is hot and the topping looks melted and fragrant.
- 6. For a crispier top, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end, watching closely so the bread does not overbrown.
- 7. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
The peri peri blend brings garlic, citrus, smoky spice, and chile warmth into the butter, so the bread tastes lively without needing a long ingredient list. For a softer result, bake only until heated through; for extra crunch, finish with a short broil.
